Silicon Bay Appoints New Business Development Director
18 February 2004Silicon Bay are pleased to announce the appointment of John A. Davison to their board of directors as Business Development Director. John brings with him 20 years of corporate experience in the international banking industry. Prior to joining Silicon Bay John was General Manager for Global Payment Systems European and Far Eastern operations, responsible for developing key bank relationships through global solutions for international cash management. At Silicon Bay he is responsible for sales, marketing and international business development for the company’s range of products and services.
Mr. Davison’s distinguished career and experience as a senior executive provides him with the ideal knowledge and background to help accelerate the growth of Silicon Bay in its key markets. Mr. Davison comes to Silicon Bay from Global Payment Systems, a leading provider of enterprise management solutions, where he was General Manager of their European and Far Eastern operations for 10 years. During his tenure at Global Payment Systems (formerly known as NDC), he transformed the company from its Cash Management Exchange origins to a broader range of payment systems solutions for major banks and multinationals. Prior to joining NDC, Mr. Davison headed the First National Bank of Chicago’s International Service products Division for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and previous to that was Group Treasurer of Thomas Cook Group.
